All Barça supporters from the Balearic Islands will be able to get to know first-hand the project called Sí al futur [‘Yes to the Future’, in Catalan] in a presentation that will be held on Saturday, 28 March 2020, at 12 noon at the Barça Supporters Club Els Tamarells (Carrer dels Horts, 50), in Felanitx, Mallorca. Víctor Font will present the project he is leading, and which aims to offer a new proposal to FC Barcelona members for the next election to the Club's presidency, in a conversation with journalist Antoni Bassas. This seventh presentation event will be the first that is organized outside of Catalonia.
There is no need to book a seat to attend, just turn up at Els Tamarells from 11:30h, when the doors of the Club will be opened. Attendees can sit while there is room. This supporters club or “penya” was founded in 2002 in Portocolom, a coastal town that depends from the municipality of Felanitx, and currently has about 1,500 supporters, making it the second largest Barça supporters club in the world.
During the presentation, Victor Font will outline the main points of the project and delve into not only the issues that preside over Barça today, but also those points that he promotes to help make the Barça of the future possible, when Messi and the greatest generation of footballers in history will no longer be on the turf. After this initial conversation, the attendees will be able to ask any questions, give opinions and contribute with initiatives towards the growth and improvement of the project.
