Bellcaire d’Empordà will host Sí al futur‘s first post pandemic face-to-face event on Friday 24 July

Bellcaire d'Empordà will host the first post pandemic face-to-face presentation of Sí al futur [‘Yes to the Future’ in Catalan], the project led by Víctor Font, a project which aims to offer a new proposal to FC Barcelona members for the next elections to the Club’s presidency. Font will outline the main points of the project in a conversation with journalist Antoni Bassas, in addition to dealing with the latest sports news on Barça. Once the initial conversation is over, the participants will be able to ask questions or give opinions in order to resolve their doubts and concerns about the project.

The presentation will begin at 8.30 pm and will last approximately for one and a half hours. It is not necessary to make a reservation to attend. As attendees arrive, they will be able to sit while there is room. A maximum of 200 people will be able to attend, thus complying with all the safety measures established by the health authorities: mandatory use of a mask, respecting the minimum safety distance and washing hands with disinfectant before entering the venue.

Before the pandemic, Sí al futur had already organized presentation events with public. The first was at the AXA Auditorium in Barcelona, in front of 600 people, in January 2019. Sí al futur then gave a presentation in Granollers, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Vic, at the Conesa Beer brewery in Barcelona, and in Mataró, where the last event before the pandemic was held on March 2, 2020.

After resuming these face-to-face events, now at Bellcaire d’Empordà, Sí al futur is planning presentations in Felanitx (Mallorca) on Saturday 25 October and in Alcarràs / Terres de Lleida on Thursday 12 November.

Virtual presentations during confinement

During the confinement, Víctor Font explained the project he is leading via virtual meetings with members. More than 500 Barcelona supporters have taken part in one of these telematic meetings of Sí al futur. After the great reception of the first online meeting, which took place on May 8, with the presence of more than 200 followers, and that of May 22, with 150 more followers, 150 Barcelona fans filled again the last presentation on June 12th.

Although the health situation already allows for face-to-face meetings again, Sí al futur will continue to hold virtual meetings to make its project known to as many members as possible.
