Sí al futur promotes a collection of 3,253 Barça members’ signatures for the October Delegates’ Assembly with a view to approving the use of electronic vote in the Club

The project Sí al futur (Yes to the Future in Catalan) begins a collection of signatures of members for the Assembly of Delegates of FC Barcelona, ​​scheduled for next 6 October, seeking to approve the introduction of electronic voting in the Club (everything about electronic voting). Together with the traditional in-person voting, the electronic vote could be implemented in the elections to the presidency, including the collection of signatures of the candidates; it would also allow reforming the Assembly of Delegates to open it to the whole social mass; and would elicit member opinion on some symbolic issues, such as, for instance, the design of the Club jersey or the badge. Two thirds of the members present in the Assembly will have to vote in favour of the electronic vote for it to be approved.

To include the proposal in the Assembly agenda, a minimum of 3,253 signatures must be submitted. The figure is equivalent to 3% of the passive suffrage of the members, according to the census published on 5 August, as laid down in the Statutes of the entity. The signatures must be delivered before 27 September at the Club offices.

If the Assembly votes favourably for the introduction of electronic voting, it will be necessary then to wait for the Parliament of Catalonia to pass the new Catalan Sport and Physical Activity Act, which includes this voting modality. The law is expected to be approved before the end of the year or early next year, since it now has the support of a large political majority of the hemicycle.
