Those attending the presentation of Sí al futur in Sant Cugat will be able to take a memento pic

Anyone coming to the foyer of the Teatre-Auditori de Sant Cugat del Vallès on June 11, at 7:00 pm for Víctor Font’s presentation event of the project Sí al futur (Yes to the Future, in Catalan), will be able to be photographed next to three authentic shirts of three Barcelona stars: Cruyff, Messi and Sancho. The three shirts have been donated for the occasion by collector Miquel Tejero.

Johan Cruyff's shirt, which will be on display in the Auditori foyer, is the one he wore in the 6th Ciudad de Mallorca Trophy against FK Austria Wien (25 August 1974).

Messi’s shirt is the one he styled in the league match against Eibar (21 May 2017), on the occasion of the tribute for the 25th anniversary of the Champions League Cup won at Wembley.

The third shirt to be exhibited belonged to Agustí Sancho. He wore that shirt during the Spanish Championship of 1928. Thanks to this victory, for the first time in history Barça kept the trophy in property for having won this championship for the fifth time.

Did you know that....

... if we decided to elaborate a canon with the best players in the history of the Club, Agustín Sancho would doubtless rank among them in his own right? His main merit was that he was the mid-center of the Barça's Golden Age team, the one that dazzled, both in Catalonia and beyond, throughout the Twenties. Sancho held command of the midfield of the blaugrana team between 1916 and 1928, facilitating the work to similarly mythical forwards like Piera, Gràcia, Alcàntara or Samitier, among others. He was also the first solid barrier of the rival forwards, and thanks to him the life of defenders Planas, Walter, Coma, Galicia or Martínez Surroca was made easier. His physique, perhaps not the set type for current standards, was not an obstacle to becoming a star and accumulate an amazing record: 9 championships of Catalonia and 5 of Spain, as well as being part of the first batch of Barça players who were selected to play with the flamboyant Spanish national squad of 1920, along with Zamora, Samitier and Sesúmaga. In the end, more than 400 matches played with the Barça jersey and an end to his career on June 17, 1928, in a tribute match against the CE Europe.

Free admission

To attend the presentation of the Sí al futur project, the proposal that Víctor Font seeks to offer to the members of FC Barcelona when the next presidential elections of the Club are called, it will not be necessary to book a seat – just come to the Auditori from 18:30 hours, when the doors of the premises will open. As the attendees arrive, they can sit down freely.

During the ceremony, Víctor Font will present the project he leads to govern Barça in a conversation with journalist Antoni Bassas and will explain how Sí al futur imagines the Barça of 2030. The participants in the event will be able to ask questions to Víctor Font.
